Our Community Insights Network has been created to strengthen and support community research activity with Tower Hamlets residents. The network brings together specially trained local residents and organisations in Tower Hamlets who are gathering high quality local qualitative insights. This includes information about experiences of local services and how they might be improved, made more efficient or more accessible particularly by reaching groups that traditionally do not engage with services.
The network will provide peer support and learning opportunities to community researchers across the borough. There will be quarterly networking events which will be shaped by network member’s interests and requirements.
The network is also supporting Healthwatch Tower Hamlets in creating a Community Insights Repository. This will be a key resource for building and sharing community intelligence, more efficiently mapping community needs and requirements, avoiding duplication and determining what community consultation and engagement activity needs to happen.
By gathering and sharing community insights, the network aims to inform and enable co-produced and solution-focused approaches to service delivery and commissioning for all Tower Hamlets Together stakeholders.
