Tower Hamlets Council and Tower Hamlets Clinical Commissioning Group (THCCG) have made their first formal joint appointment, taking on Warwick Tomsett as Joint Director of Integrated Commissioning.

The move brings both organisations together, creating a truly integrated approach to commissioning health and social care in Tower Hamlets.

Warwick will report jointly to Denise Radley, Council Corporate Director of Health, Adults and Community, and Simon Hall, Acting Managing Director of the CCG.

Denise Radley said:  “As health and social care partners In Tower Hamlets continue to explore new and innovative ways to provide care though partnership, our appointment of Warwick as Joint Director of Integrated Commissioning is a major step towards strengthening integrated care in Tower Hamlets.”

Simon Hall said: “We are delighted to have appointed Warwick as our new Joint Director of Commissioning. We believe that given his previous experience and extensive knowledge of commissioning integrated services, he is a great fit for this role.”
