Tower Hamlets Council, in partnership with Barts Health will celebrate Stoma Aware Day on 5th October 2023. The theme for this year will be smash social exclusion for those living with a stoma.

The event is open to anyone living with a stoma, staff, carers and family members, and the wider community, who wish to receive more information and advice on stoma support.

We aim to raise awareness on the social exclusion issues faced by those living with a stoma, with a variety of information and advice stalls, including Colostomy UK and a range of stoma product suppliers.

This will be a networking opportunity for Tower Hamlets residents living with a stoma, and their family members and carers, to come together for the first time to discuss any issues they are facing.

Support Stoma Aware Day 2023 and together we can smash the social exclusion and accessibility issues that are faced by people living with a stoma.
