This event is an opportunity for our Somali residents to find out more about the Covid-19 vaccine and ask a panel of health experts and local community leaders questions about the vaccination programme
Join us on Monday 22 March at 7pm for a live virtual Q&A session. This event is an opportunity for our Somali residents to find out more about the Covid-19 vaccine and ask a panel of health experts and local community leaders questions about the vaccination programme.
Residents can submit questions in advance on topics such as eligibility, safety, and effectiveness. All questions are welcome, with the event aiming to inform residents and address any concerns about the vaccine itself and the programme.
Somali/English translations will be available during the webinar, to ensure our Somali residents can receive information in their community language. While this event is tailored for Somali residents, anyone can join the discussion.
Register now here to attend and to submit your question to the panel in advance. We will publish answers to all questions submitted after the event. Attendees will receive a joining link via email the day before the event.
Our panel will include:
- Rushanara Ali MP
- Cllr Rachel Blake, Deputy Mayor and lead member for adults, health and wellbeing
- Dr Somen Banerjee – Director of Public Health
- Other health professionals and translators to be confirmed
This virtual event is the second in a planned series on Covid-19 vaccinations.
