Join us for a morning of learning and collaboration at our Disabilities Sharing Good Practice event, chaired by Amy Whitelock-Gibbs, co-chair of Tower Hamlets Together Anti- Racism and Health Equity Steering Group.
This in-person gathering will bring together health professionals and disability advocates, to share their expertise and insights. Whether you're a seasoned manager, commissioner or practitioner, this event is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable knowledge and examples of positive change. Please attend to share your views and be part of a community dedicated to making a difference!
- Purpose:
To demonstrate outcomes of Tower Hamlets Disabilities Competency Programme, share good practice and encourage collaboration on reasonable adjustments.
The programme will include:
Sharing reasonable adjustments from Tower Hamlets GP practices from Primary Care Networks 1, 5, 6 and 8 such as: GPCG SignLive BSL interpreting, introduced by deafPLUS.
- Introduction to Tower Hamlets Public Health Disabilities Competency Programme, co-produced with Real, ICM, deafPLUS and North East London Training Hub.
- Learning from good practice across London and NEL, keynote speakers include:
